Student Leadership Academy

We don't just train. We transform.

The Office of Student Activities and Wellness (SAW) provides South Texas College students numerous chances to invest in their leadership development.

The student will be taught how to identify their leadership style to determine which practices benefit them and their abilities for future employers or educational institutions.

Throughout the year, we offer lectures and training for individual students, one-on-one consultations with student leaders, and interactive experiences to encourage discussion on leadership.

Volunteer

Volunteering helps you connect with your community and its members, introduces you to new people, and expands your support network.

Positive effects of volunteering include:

#2: Career Benefits

#3: Wellbeing from New, Community-Centered Experiences

Break from monotony with purposeful volunteering, boosting motivation and giving life a sense of purpose.

Workshops

Our workshops aim to teach students the impact of influencing others. While we can't predict destiny, we can ready students to become future leaders through the Student Leadership Academy, offering guidance and direction.

Graduation Ceremony
